Welcome to Capital Punishment Hockey!  We are a hockey team based in Richmond, VA.  Our team has been together for a few seasons and focuses on strategy and teamwork game in and game out.

The name "Capital Punishment" came about due to the fact that half of our team members are officers in the local Chesterfield County Police Department. Naturally, we sought a name that would both be intimidating and fit in with our daily lives.  The rest of the team is filled with skaters who, above all, value teamwork and communication as a tool to win games.

Equality and persistence mixed with a good dose of strategy is the central philosophy of this team.  Everyone gets equal playing time, and, as with any successful team, we have a deep roster, with points being accumulated by every skater on the lineup. 

We would like to take the time to thank our sponsors for donating the funds that paid for our uniforms and for those of you who have helped support our team along the way.

11/10/2008- The Capital Punishment sent the Rockets into orbit crushing them 7-1.
